Immigration reform is tied to our humanity, co-existence, and collective prosperity. The understanding of our differences is key to making this world a better place; yet today we are in the midst of a divisive conversation that threatens our progress.

To ensure a more prosperous and welcoming state, we will continue to educate all Americans about the contributions of immigrants and empower immigrants to integrate, contribute, and thrive. We will continue to: Confront ideology and policies that encourage anti-immigrant sentiments and racial injustice; Support diverse leadership with collaboration, inspiration, active listening, and creative communication; Be proactive in preparing for federal immigration reform that upholds family values, protects American jobs and builds our economy.
